Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane

When in Queensland (about 2 weeks ago) I made it a must do, to see the 'Falling Back to Earth' exhibition by Cai Guo-Qiang at GoMA. And it certainly did not disappoint. The installations were so mesmerising with 99 replica animals in 'Heritage' and 'Head On.' Such a beautiful and inspiring exhibition, looking back over these photos I am still lost for words!
Also took some time to look around the rest of the gallery, I adored this piece by Taylah Jardine; made of synthetic polymer paint on wood.
Area around the gallery space! Such a lovely day in Brisbane!

Over the Easter break I visited Queensland for a week. The weather was incredible, I spent almost everyday at the beach. As well as eating a constant variety of junk food I went to Wet n Wild, Movie World & Sea World! We stayed in Coolangatta and visited Brisbane for a day to go to GoMA (post coming for all the art I loved!) There were love locks everywhere and I also managed to make a few purchases, new Ksubi jeans (hell yes!!!) Hope you all had a lovely Easter!

My Debutante Ball was Friday and wow did I have the most amazing day ever! The lead up was so much fun; fake tan, nails etc. Had a very early start to the morning with my hair done by a family friend followed by make up at Chanel. Had so many photos and it was a struggle to pick a few to upload, it was awesome to spend a day with such amazing people and become even closer. Everyone looked so beautiful!
(Best partner!!!!!!!!!!)
And how awesome was our retake of the Oscars selfie??!!

Was in Sydney for five days last week for an athletics competition, I had a spare day and couldn't think of a better way to spend it then down at Bondi! First picture is the Ryde Parramatta Golf Course. Followed by the street art along the walkway at Bondi. 'The Kiss' by Alana Williams is going to be a huge inspiration for my art this year! Finally an iconic Iceberg's photo. Had a great time, also bought a few new items I will put up in a post at the end of the month. Hope all is well.
